NORTHPORT, N.Y. August 13, 2018Code Dx, Inc., provider of an award-winning application security solution that automates and accelerates the discovery, prioritization, and management of software vulnerabilities, today announced its CEO, Dr. Anita D’Amico, has been nominated for the Cyberjutsu Award recognizing women leading change in cybersecurity. The Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC) will hold a red carpet event on August 17, 2018 in Tysons Corner, Va., honoring and celebrating women in cybersecurity and their exemplary contributions to the field.

“It is a tremendous honor to be nominated by my peers for this award,” said D’Amico. “Each day, I strive to break down barriers in cybersecurity and pioneer new ways to protect the valuable information assets of government organizations and corporations from potential security threats. I also believe it is important to focus on our next generation of cybersecurity leaders and therefore I make a concerted effort to inspire the personal and professional growth of technologists and researchers to be the best they can be.”

The women nominated for the Cyberjutsu award serve as role models, mentors, advocates, educations, and more to the next generation of cyber talent. Women are nominated by their peers at various stages in their career from Rising Star to Cyber Advocate and all those in between.
