The news channels were flooded with stories in 2014 about data security breaches in the private sector. Large corporations, such as Sony, Home Depot, Target, and JPMorgan Chase were among those that had major incidents that were plastered all over the news. Government agencies aren’t immune to such incidents. The U.S. Postal Service, U.S. Department of State, the National Weather Service, the White House, the U.S. Investigations Services, and the Oregon State Employment Department were among the government organizations that also had major attacks this past year.
